What you will be doing

  • Provide technical expertise across all stages of software development, with a focus on OutSystems solutions.
  • Lead the design, development and delivery of scalable OutSystems applications, ensuring high quality code in line with agreed standards, leading by example.
  • Plan and drive software construction activities, adopting and adapting appropriate development methods, tools and techniques.
  • Take part in agile ceremonies and team meetings as appropriate.
  • Document and embed technical guidelines for developers, keep them current and promote consistency across teams.
  • Work closely with Architecture, provide technical input to solution design and create technical user stories with the right level of detail.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, UX designers and QA to deliver high impact solutions.
  • Ensure platform governance, security and compliance standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.

About you

  • Proven experience as an OutSystems Technical Lead or Senior Developer, with strong knowledge of OutSystems architecture, integrations and best practices.
  • Hands on experience with OutSystems 11, SQL, REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns. Mobile application experience is ideal.
  • Able to define, contribute to and uphold software development standards and guidance.
  • Strong knowledge of database and data warehouse concepts, design principles and architectures. Able to evaluate options and recommend approaches.
  • Supportive leader and coach, able to allocate work, guide colleagues and foster effective working relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
  • OutSystems certifications at Professional or Expert level are highly desirable.
