Join us at Birmingham City Football Club as a IT Support Analyst to help improve our ways of working to deliver smarter, more efficient technology across the organisation. You’ll play a hands-on role in this transformation, helping to deliver secure, reliable, and innovative IT services that empower our teams every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide professional and efficient 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring a high standard of customer service
- Diagnose, resolve, and document technical issues both on-site and remotely
- Escalate complex 3rd line issues when required
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot PC, laptop, and Mac hardware/software
- Manage and maintain the Asset Register for all hardware and software licences
Systems Administration & Maintenance
- Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks on IT systems and services
- Support the procurement of IT equipment aligned with budgets and transformation goals
- Manage relationships with third-party suppliers and service providers
- Create and maintain documentation for standards, builds, and procedures
- Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and better use of technology to drive continuous improvement
Transformation Projects
- Support the delivery of technology and transformation projects, providing hands-on technical input and clear documentation
- Work collaboratively across teams to deliver upgrades, migrations, and process enhancements
User Support & Training
- Support end-users through guidance and training to promote digital confidence and best practice
- Deliver a proactive, customer-focused approach to IT support
- Champion technology as an enabler of productivity and innovation
Matchday & Event Support
- Provide out-of-hours and matchday IT support on a rota basis — ensuring smooth operations during live events and key fixtures
What are we looking for from you?
- Strong experience with Windows 11 and macOS in secure environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite administration
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of PC, laptop, and Mac hardware/software
- Basic Active Directory administration skills
