About us

BT Group was the world’s first telco and our heritage in the sector is unrivalled. As home to several of the UK’s most recognised brands – BT, EE, Openreach and Plusnet – we’ve always played a critical role in creating the future.

Over the next two years, we will complete the UK’s largest and most successful digital infrastructure project: connecting more than 25 million premises to full fibre broadband. Alongside our heavy investment in 5G, we’re revolutionising how people connect.

While we’re now through the most capital-intensive phase of our fibre investment (enabling us to reward our shareholders), our focus is on reorganising to serve customers better. That means radical simplification of systems, structures and processes, alongside AI and technology innovation.

Change on this scale is unprecedented, and there’s never been a more exciting time to join BT Group as we improve connectivity for millions and reimagine what a UK telco can be.
